So if you're exclusively looking for an ALIEN: Covenant art book, skip this book and purchase The Art and Making of Alien: Covenant. This book is basically a collection of behind-the-scene commentaries and interviews with 13 of the main Covenant crews/casts and costume/creature designers. The casts all get their round to answer interview questions in the likes of"How does it feel to be on A:C?""What's your character's role?""How was it like working with Ridley Scott?""What are your thoughts on _______ scene?""What are your most memorable moments?""How did you get involved with A:C?"etc. -- you get the picture.Art wise, this book has a handful of new art pieces, I'd say 10 at most. Everything else is in the The Art and Making of Alien: Covenant book.Quality wise, the pages feel like pages from a magazine bounded together with a glossy hardcover.Good book to add for the cranky ALIEN collector.Pass this book if you're solely an art book collector.All-in-all, fun book and interesting to read the casts' thoughts and feelings about their roles in the film. I'm ambivalent about the film as I've mentioned in my review on The Art and Making of Alien: Covenant, and this book re-enforces my thought that ALIEN: Covenant (or maybe just Ridley Scott?) is a self-contragulatory film whose box office #s didn't quite reach equilibrium with its David8 level of self aggrandizing hubris.
