I went crazy recently and bought all of these art sets for the Kindle Fire. I have three Kindles but I was particularly interested in seeing these pictures on my Kindle Fire HDX. This seven inch display from 2013 is the highest resolution device Amazon ever made. The current HD devices have a slightly lower dpi (dots per inch). I have been surprised to see that a higher resolution doesn't seem to make for a better book reader. The resolution of the first Kindle Fire and the newest one are both good enough at 1024px by 600px. The HDX sports 1920px by 1200px, an amazing number of pixels on a relatively tiny screen. But how many dots per inch do you need to draw a solid, comfortably readable font?So I was casting about for something that could show off the excellence of the HDX. I saw these sets of pictures, some of which have hundreds of pictures, drawings as well as paintings, and started 1-click buying. I literally bought EVERYTHING I could find. At the end I added it all up and it came to $440, two or three dollars per set. I had buyer's remorse for a few minutes, but when I stepped through one of the sets of pictures I got over that. Everything looks amazing, as I hoped.
